Canine Country Club Gets a Social Media Refresh

This year, the Sells Agency team worked hard on a social media refresh for the Canine Country Club in Little Rock, Arkansas. As one of Little Rock’s oldest and most trusted dog boarding and doggie day care facilities, the Canine Country Club has a loyal following of dog lovers in central Arkansas. But the brand felt they weren’t getting as much out of social media as they could.

That’s where we came in. CCC asked the Sells Agency to help develop, launch, and manage a social media marketing strategy. The strategy would be focused on showcasing the brand’s competitive advantages and creating an engaging content marketing strategy in line with their newly created website. The goals of the marketing effort would be:

  • To increase brand awareness and preference within central Arkansas
  • To grow Canine Country Club’s customer base
  • To increase utilization of services among existing customers

The Sells Agency developed a plan intended to improve social media photo and video content, utilize monthly Facebook ad campaigns targeting desired audiences, and increase monthly blog content to provide helpful, engaging content for consumers. Our social media specialist, Christa Page, developed and implemented monthly social media content calendars with content published daily to Canine Country Club’s Facebook and Instagram channels. The creative team produced photos, videos and social media graphics consistent with the refreshed look and feel of Canine Country Club’s new website created by Pixel Perfect.

Sells also published monthly blog content that is highly relevant to current or prospective dog owners, driving hundreds of clicks per month to the Canine Country Club website from social media platforms. Not only were we increasing traffic to the website but this was being done with precise targeting, ensuring we were driving qualified, local consumers to the brand’s website.

Addtionally, the agency planned, developed and implemented a successful social media giveaway on Facebook and Instagram. These promotions generated buzz around the brand and increased customer and potential customer engagement on social media. Giveaway results included 21 entries, 5,759 people reached and 283 post engagements.

Overall results of the Sells Agency social media marketing efforts included:

  • 48% increase in number of engaged users
  • 84% increase in organic reach
  • 80% increase in organic impressions
  • 119% increase in viral reach
  • 111% increase in video views
  • 327% increase in new Page likes

These results are seen when comparing 5 months prior to Sells Agency’s taking over CCC social media to 5 months after taking over CCC social media.
