Sells Agency is a full-service marketing firm with a razor-like focus on achieving business success for our clients.
When he's not helping clients tell their stories, Sells Agency's Vince Griffin is often behind the camera capturing stories of his own.
Vince's latest photography exhibition, Loose Ends, recently opened at the Windgate Gallery at the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College and showcases a collection of striking black-and-white portraits and landscapes from across Arkansas and the South.
Featured in a recent Arkansas Democrat-Gazette article, Vince describes the exhibit as "a celebration of the South" – not just its landscapes, but the people who call it home. Through his photography, he explores the region's complexity, beauty, resilience, and history, highlighting individuals and communities that are often overlooked.

While the landscapes are striking, the heart of Loose Ends lies in its people. Several portraits celebrate members of the LGBTQ+ community, capturing moments of tenderness, resilience, and belonging. Through these images, Vince highlights the quiet dignity of Southern LGBTQ+ individuals and families, offering a nuanced perspective that challenges assumptions and reflects the rich diversity of the region he loves.
The exhibit includes 25 photographs that blend portraiture and landscape imagery, revealing what Vince calls the "Gothic beauty" of Arkansas' lesser-seen places. From kudzu-covered streets and abandoned structures to intimate family portraits and scenes of faith, the collection invites viewers to see dignity and meaning in unexpected places.

Several pieces focus on locations in Helena-West Helena, where nature has reclaimed parts of the built environment. In works like Untitled (Kudzu Angel) and Untitled (Kudzu House), sprawling vines transform familiar scenes into something both haunting and beautiful. Other photographs explore themes of faith, family, identity, and belonging, creating a body of work that is both distinctly Southern and universally human.
What makes Loose Ends especially compelling is Vince's ability to find humanity in every frame. His images don't shy away from the South's challenges or contradictions, but instead present them with honesty, empathy, and respect.

At Sells Agency, we're fortunate to work alongside talented storytellers every day. Vince's exhibition is a reminder that great storytelling transcends mediums and that the most powerful stories often begin by simply paying attention.
Congratulations, Vince, on a remarkable exhibition and well-deserved recognition.
